Marathon is a multiplatform testing tool for Java Swing applications; it provides a macro recorder, a script editor and a test runner. It can be a good choice to build functional regression and acceptance tests.
Using the graphic recorder it is possible to record basic test cases: you just have to click on the record button, work on the application and then save the navigation (it is obviously possible to insert assertions). Anyhow, it is necessary to learn the simple scripting language (based on Python) to fully exploit the power of the tool.
All tests can be performed later both using the recorder and using a useful " batch mode".
