JUnit is probably the most popular tool for Java unit tests. It was written
by Erich Gamma and Kent Beck on their way to the OOPSLA 1997 conference.
It is integrated in several commercial and open source development environment
and has been used as a basic infrastructure for many other testing frameworks.
